Mural Projects
There are many reasons why I can paint murals. My art is about beautifying the streets. Art can bring life back to an area with its colors and stories.
It also can be about representation, giving a voice to underserved communities in a neighborhood.
In addition, it's about education and awareness - bringing light to pressing issues in environmental conservation and social justice through art.
Featured Project: Pono Hawaiian Grill
This project was initially brought to me by Timmy, the owner of Pono; his vision was to create a Hawaii-inspired mural to invite customers in.
Pele is the goddess of fire and hula. In this mural, she is depicted in a dancing hula position. The Hawaiian words “Malama Aina” are painted, meaning to care for and honor the land.

Featured Project: Welcome to Rio Del Mar
With the help of two other local artists, Scotty Greathouse and Casey Landaker, Taylor transformed the prominent north wall of Venus Pie Trap. The mural hopes to bring some life back to the area hit hard by massive storms in early 2023.
The mural overlooks a County Parklet along the Rio Flats Esplanade and showcases Aptos’ interconnected ecosystems. This large splash of color celebrates a resilient community hit hard by an unprecedented season of storms.
This project was sponsored by a partnership between Nisene Rio Gateway (NRG) and County Park Friends.
